Going back to work today...
I'm just about out the door to go back to work today. I am so sad about this. 
It makes me so sad that all day long Emily won't see either of her parents -- for MONTHS!
At least today my husband is using vacation time -- every tues & thurs in December he'll be watching her, so that helps a little bit. And I'll be home over the summer. So I just hope that the school year finishes up nice and fast so I can be home with Emily again.

Are you a teacher Melissa? I am and I'm going back on Monday. The way I look at it is Christmas vacation is right around the corner and the Feb. break, and then Easter and before you know it school is over again. That's what gets me through, that and knowing I'll be home by 3.
Anyway, I hope your day went well!!

Aw, I know how hard it is. I tried to go back and couldn't handle it. I had the option of not going back though, because while DH and I are just squeaking by right now, we're able to do it. I'm very lucky. I'd be miserable working right now.

Hang in there...I know how hard it is. I usually have DH drop Jake off at the sitter because I can't handle it (and it's closer to work for him)...but today I had to do it and let me tell you - it s*cks.

HI well you see this is what is nice to be a teacher. Iam a teacher as well. Just think you have only 3 weeks then we have one week off and then a week in February and a week and a half in April. It will go by fast.
I am due in February - having c-section February 15 and going back to work may 1. It ***** but I will count down the days until summer too. - shari

I know how you feel I hope your day went by quick. It will get easier as the days go by. It i s hard to leave them the first couple of time but it does get easier hope you ahd a great day.

Going back to work was an extremely hard day, but I also did it on a Thursday, and before you know it, the weekend was here.
I'm a little jealous that you will have the summer to look forward to...
I hope your day went fast and that your little one gives you a big, fat smile when you get home
