Re: Godparents
I have a similar situation with my DS god parents (DH Aunt and Uncle), they make no effort at all to see him. I think since he is born they saw him 3 times, he is 15 months old. I would be upset and would say something if it bothers you. My DS is a twin, so my DD god parents act like his god parents too. But it does hurt. You can't change people.

Re: Godparents
DS's "Godmother" walked out of his life in June of this year. No birthday card, no Christmas card, no nothing. She has been told off and I know longer see her as his Godmother...

Re: Godparents
I have a similar sitch. My sister and DHs brother are DDs Godparents. They both live about 15 minutes away and are single and never make an effort to see her. It hurts my feelings because I have 3 Godchildren and I always do special things for them....send them cards to let them know I'm thinking about them, surprise them new pajamas, bring them Christmas gifts and spend time with them. I try not to dwell too much, but it is upsetting.
