Re: Glucose tomorrow...what to expect?
I had mine today... I ate dinner at 8pm last night, nothing but water until the test. Then I had drank the juice at 8 and had my appt. 8:15. My doc did a sono and then they drew blood at 9. Waiting for results tomorrow. It wasn't bad at all. Treated myself to a nice breakfast after :)
GOOD LUCK!

Re: Glucose tomorrow...what to expect?
Your doc should have told you if they wanted you to fast or not. Not every doctor wants you to fast- mine didn't. They said to eat as I normally would. Other than that, pretty simple- you'll drink the stuff, then usually have a doc appt. while you wait, and an hour after you drink it, they'll take your blood. Easy!

Re: Glucose tomorrow...what to expect?
It was pretty painless. You drink the stuff, which is not as bad as your friends will have you believe. It tastes like flat Sunkist soda. You have to finish it in under 5 minutes, but it's like 8 oz so that's not hard. Then you come back in an hour for a blood draw. My results were back to me by 8 the next morning. Good luck!

Re: Glucose tomorrow...what to expect?
had it, he didn't say to fast, but I was just curious to know if anyone did. It was fine, that drink isn't Awful, I mena I wouldn't reach for it in the fridge but I thought it was going to be sugar sludge. Pretty painless for the most part.
Thanks for answering
