Glucose test wasn't bad at all!
I was in and out in 1.5 hours and the drink tasted totally fine. Best part was that I didn't have to miss any work.
As long as I test normal, I believe I am done with all my testing. WooHoo!

I just went for mine this morning. The drink tasted like very bubbly soda. I had the orange. I am hoping I pass b/c at my ob appt. on Thurs. I had protein in my urine and had to do the 24 hour urine test. UGH I'll be praying for both of us

This must be a popular day for the glucose test...I went this morning too! The woman who took my blood told me a lot of women are failing it lately because the "passing" number was dropped by 20 points this year. It probably wasn't a coincidence that there were 2 other pregnant women there at the same time as me, only they were taking the 3 hour test, since they failed the first one.
I am really hoping to pass!!!!!!!!

Exactly! I expected the drink to be gross and have difficulty swallowing but it really wasn't bad at all. It helped that I didn't eat or drink anything since midnight. I was actually very thirsty and had no problems drinking it.

The drink is defiinitely not bad at all. I got sick well after the test was done, but I think it's because they had me lying down flat on my back strapped to the monitor. I just got "dizzy" in that position. Luckily I had finished all the blood work though by that point so I didn't need to re-take!
