My dh was off that day and surprised me @ the dr. office. I had magazines in hand and everything. It made the hour go pretty quick because I had someone to talk to.

you can go alone...Its really easy.
You drink the drink which is really small...like a kids fruit drink pack........wait an hour...take a blood test and go.
Bring a book or magazine.

Oh, my docs gave me the drink to bring home and drink an hour before my appointment. Yeah sitting there for an hour alone could get boring.

same here. Only for the 3 hour test did I have to sit and wait and for that DH came with me.
