Glucose test
I had my glucose test this morning and almost passed out while they were taking my blood! I had to lay down for 10 minutes with a cloth on my head and then they had to use the smelling salts bc I almost went out. So embarrassing!! I don't know why this happened. I was fine when I had it done with DS. I was so happy I decided to leave him with my FIL and he wasn't with me!

I almost passed out after the test. I think it was from all the sugar and no real food.

That's what I think it was too. Once I had some pretzels and water I felt better. What a terrible feeling! Sorry it happened to you too. Did you end up passing?

No and thank goodness. After the test (9:30am, so no food since the night before), I went to the mall. I ate an auntie anne's pretzel but it was a sweet one (so more sugar), then I went into Macys and was in the fitting room and all of a sudden got shaky and woozy and really hot. I sat down in the dressing room and chugged water and downed some sunflower seeds that were in my bag. I started to feel a little better after that. Def not a good feeling!

Glucose test
That sounds scary!
I'm taking the 1 hour on Friday at 9w1d b/c of family history with diabetes and I'm experiencing MS and I'm terrified that after I drink the nasty drink, I'm going to puke it up and then I'll have to drink it again.

The drink wasn't bad at all. Although prob not something you want to drink when your nauseous! I was fine up until they took my blood which was an hour after I drank it. Bring a snack with you to eat right after. I had a pb and j sandwich in my bag but the pretzels were def better since I was nauseous.
