My doctor gave me the paperwork to go to a lab in week 28 for the test...i foolishly didnt look at it in the office and when i called up to schedule it i noticed it was a 2 hour test. is this normal? has anyone else done this?

Re: glucose test
The 1-hour is notorious for getting a high rate of false positives. The two hour is allegedly more accurate, and if you fail it, I *think* you're Dx with GD.

Most other countries do the 2-hour test. I think it's fasting like the 3-hour. It should be very accurate.
