Re: Glass bottles
I registered for Dr.Browns and Born Free. I also got the Avent sterilizer and it doesn't really fit the long 7 ounce Dr. Brown bottles. Its best for the short wide bottles. I got a couple of 3.5 ounce, 5 ounce and 7 ounce bottles.

Re: Glass bottles
I decided to register for the evenflo glass bottles (6 of the 4oz and 6 of the 8oz). They are much less expensive ($10 for 6) than the born free bottles (about $10 each) and the Dr. Brown (2 for $13).
If the baby has problems with gas or does not like the evenflo, I have no problem trying the others.

I have the evenflow glass bottles on my "wishlist." Then I also added the Dr. Brown's. I have no idea what I am doing.

Re: Glass bottles
I purchased Dr. Browns glass bottles. I bought (2) 3.5oz and (6) 7oz bottles. In the beginning a formula fed DC usually eats 6x's per day. So to be on the safe side I bought enough bottles to cover all 6 feedings in case I didn't get a chance to wash them, and most days I use all six!
The annoying thing w/ Dr. Browns glass bottles is that the small ones are 3.5 oz and not 4oz like other small bottles. DS was drinking between 3-4 oz a few weeks after birth so I had to use the larger bottles early on.

Re: Glass bottles
My daughter has alot of stomach and reflux issues as well as milk allergies so the dr said we had to use the glass bottles..
We got the Evenflow and they work great..............
they are cheap too..
My DD hated the dr browns nipples
She is 7mts on Sunday and still on the 4oz bottle and she uses the 8oz bottle for her last feeding only!

Re: Glass bottles
I registered for Born Free. You will only need the small ones at first, but I would register for both, because you will eventually need the bigger ones.

Thanks ladies. I can't seem to find the small dr. browns glass bottles online at BBB, so I guess I'm just going to have to wait to actually go to the store!!

Re: Glass bottles
I registered for and am using Dr. Brown's glass bottles with DS who is now 4 months old. He loves them. I use them with pumped breast milk and with formula for supplementing. Also, no "nipple confusion" with these bottles. He was going back and forth from bottle to boob with no problems. AND THESE GLASS BOTTLES ARE STRONG! I dropped a few while filling and not a crack or break. Highly recommend them.

Re: Glass bottles
We also registered for the Dr. Brown's glass bottles. My sister used Dr. Brown's bottles with her 2 boys, and it was the only thing that helped the one who was VERY colicky!
