Giving notice

i am totally dreading this, but I hate the apt I am, I feel I was duped. I can't use dishwasher and oven at the same time. Power goes out constantly and i have to ask people below to flip switch. Lord help me if i use the microwave and anything else is on, i lose power. They claim they never had this issue before, well, fine, guess, nobody ever cooked up here..Washer blew out, turns out, it wasn't properly installed and i had it fixed b/c person who came to fix it wouldn't fix it unless it was done right.

People below us, landlords parents, have a health aid who takes my mail and magazines. I get them after she reads them and circles things for me to order for her, they don't take out their garbage and the raccoon that goes thru their garbage goes after my dog, I can go on and on. i just hate it and am in a funk here.

So I found a place I love, I want out, how much notice is acceptable. I do not have a lease. I'm so scared to tell him, should I not pay june and live off my security deposit? I have only been here since Dec and had place painted, fixtures changed, i put more money into this place then I should have and not taken it out of my rent. I just ate it, even though ll said he didn't paint well and there were issues. Is a month ok?? I so hate it here.

Re: Giving notice

With no lease it's month to month and you should give 30 days notice.
