girls with implants

i've had 2 consultations so far & i'm still undecided. which did you choose, saline or silicone and why? what size implant did you choose and are you happy with it?

I went with saline

my doc said I would have the same result either way - so I didn't see the point of putting silicone in my body and spending more money for the same result

I went with a 370cc implant

I am very happy with the size

they are the biggest my doc would go and still have a natural result

most people have no clue I have implants unless I tell them-

I went from a B to a D/D+

I personally wouldn't get them to just go up 1 cup size- I could do that with a bra

Saline here. I honestly can't remember the cc's but I was a small B and went to a full C.

I went with silicone and I'm very happy. My dr stated that it's a new silicone almost like a gummy bear. This way if they break, nothing will leak. I liked that about them. I was a large A and went to a full C. My cc's are 375.
I also have to say, like Beth, no one would EVER know that I have them. They are very natural looking.

I went with a silicone gel implant as I know a few friends with saline and have actually seen the rippling that saline implants tend to do. It doesn't happen to everyone but didn't want to risk that chance and Silicone "tends" to feel more natural.

I went from a double AA to a C+/D cup and they look very natural.

my good friend just has this done- she reserached the heck out of it and went with silicone 400 cc.
she only had the surgery last week but is very hpapy with the results.

I used Dr Alder of suffolk plastic surgeons so did 3 of my friends - we are all very happy

I also had my done with Dr. Greenberg and nobody would know I had implants unless I told them.

I have saline since silicone wasn't available at the time I did mine, and I haven't had a problem with them at all. I asked a plastic surgeon I work with about exchanging my saline for silicone and he says that he still mostly uses saline because they give a fuller look than the silicone does once they settle.

He will tell you what will look the most natural for your body. A certain size cc implant will look different on different people, and with saline, they can be adjusted to even out the breast if they are uneven, which mine were. I see a lot of women on these plastic surgery message boards saying that they are going to request a certain number of cc's, but they are not surgeons and they really don't know what that size implant is going to look like. Only the surgeon in the OR is going to know when he places it.

I wanted to be a D when I went for the consultation, but after a discussion with him, he explained that because of the natural shape of my breast that putting an implant that big inside of me would make them look very unnatural. He said I would wind up being a large B, but I am really a C. Remember, implants appear larger than natural breasts even if the bra size is the same because they are fuller. I know he knows what he is doing and I trusted his judgement. He was right because I know if I would have gone bigger than he did, they would not look as nice as they do.

I went with the "gummy" cohesive silicone and am very happy with the shape and feel of them! I don't remember the cc's - 370 maybe? But I went from an A to a full C. My only issue is that I have some synmastica going on - aka "uniboob." I apparently have a very narrow shape to the front of my rib cage and this was not accounted for (I guess) with the surgery. I was planning on getting some reconstruction this March, but I got PG in December, so there goes that idea for a while. I used Romanelli - he has an excellent reputation, so I was surprised this happened to me. I plan on going back to him for the reconstruction when I'm done BF this LO, but only if he waives his fee - this was HIS mistake, and I expect to pay anesthesia fees (there's no way of getting out of those!).

hey ladies, so I'm also considering the idea of implants after this baby! I saw what happened to me after my son and I feel I may need them to make me feel better about myself. I still have time but would you girls mind FM'ing me what your doctors charged you? I'm starting the gathering information process. Also, how long in advance would you book a consult? TIA

Ok am I the only one wanting to see everyone boobies now. Not in a perverted way just to see how natural they look... ..

I have a DD but after having a baby they are just not what they used to be. I would love to go to a full D and get a lift. so I don't think I need the implant just the reduction. I just hate the way they look now. I just want my perky girls back!!
