I usually tip $5 but I usually order cases of water and soda so it is a lot to carry.
They carry it into the house.

yes, I always tip - usually $3-4 or if they are really nice or I have alot of heavy stuff - $5
They usually bring it in for me. I live in a 2 family house and live upstairs, so usually the driver brings the packagaes up the stairs and leaves them on the top landing which is right next to my kitchen. Only once or twice the drive has put down all the bags at my front door and left them there.

i ordered it one time, in the middle of the hottest day of the summer. we were stocking up bc it was close to my due date with ds, and we live on a 2nd floor. this guy brought everything up, and even set the heavier stuff on the counter so i wouldn't have to bend down to pick anything up. he must have made 10 trips up and down the stairs.....
i gave him a $20. probably too much, but i'm a big advocate of decent tipping when the service was exceptional.

Depends - most of the time yes they are good - but I have had them show up 1-1.5 hours BEFORE the window and as late as 2 hours after b/c the truck broke down. It became a habit that they would show up VERY early so I stopped using them for a while. I ended up having to put in my instructions - please do not deliver OUTSIDE of our time window.
If you pick the larger window they only give you an estimate that they think will be your 2 hour range (i.e. - 5-9 range - est arrival 557-757 - was what I got once - and they came at 845) - so you really don't know.
I would say I have had time issues 35-40% of the time that they deliver. If they are late they always call and let me know they are running late- but never if they come early. As I understand it if you aren't there when they try to deliver early peapod told me that they have to come back during the window.

I usually tip the guy who brings up the groceries. I dunno if he is the driver or not (I live in a building and can't see the truck). But I usually give $3.

I ususally tip $5. I always say I'm not going to, but then they are so nice and put the groceries out and make sure its all ok and then I run and get tip money out of my purse!
