Girls who had placenta previa
I know I am still early to be worried about this but my doctor did an ultrasound today and saw the I have placenta previa as of right now. I now that the placenta usually moves up as baby grows, but my question is.....at how many weeks should I start to worry if it hasn't moved?

they found it at 19 weeks for me and it moved by 30 weeks. not sure when you need to worry. had it with my first.

Mine was found at 12 weeks and by 16 weeks it moved.

Mine was found at 11 weeks and was low, but no longer covering my cervix around 22 weeks.

Mine was found at 20 weeks & I go back at the beginning of my 3rd trimester (end of June) to see if it moved - about 30 weeks.

The doctors found complete previa on me at my 20 week sono...I went back every two weeks and it never budged one bit so they scheduled my c-section...at my 36 week appointment the previa had completely moved so now I can go natural! Soooo anythings possible and fingers crossed for you!

my placenta is low too... i found out at 11w... im 17w3d now
my OB said not to worry about anything until the end of my 2nd trimester

I am 28 weeks and was told not to worry - that there is still a chance it would move on its own. The doc is just going to keep an eye on it during my 3rd trimester and as long as my placenta is 2 cm away from my cervix, it will be fine.

Oh, I am sooo hoping this happens for me! I was diagnosed with complete previa at 20 weeks. I go back in about a month for another sono to see if it moved but my Dr told me not to get my hopes up.
I haven't had any bleeding -- so I am taking that as a good sign. Has anyone on here experienced that?

i didnt think you could just bleed randomly... my OB said no  b/c of the risk of spotting... but he didnt say anything about bleeding otherwise

Well, I have complete previa so it's over the cervix. My OB said as the uterus starts to expand / stretch, you could experience bleeding. It's one of the symptoms of previa.
I am 25 weeks, and knock on wood, nothing. I have read that it usually starts in the 3rd tri though.

I don't think the bleeing necessarily is bad, but I believe if you have previa and experience bleeding, they have you go to L&D anyways so they can check and make sure the placenta hasn't ruptured, seperated, etc.

yikes. well, i hope mine moves!! i have my level 2 in a couple of weeks so im praying they tell me it moved

at 19 weeks they told me i had placenta previa but by 28 week sono it was just low lying, not blocking my cervix at all.
