Girls Names
So many of the names I like, DH said "no way" to because they are "porn star" names.
I liked:
lexi
alexis
brie
I had a lot more but those are just the few I remember now.
He has settled on a name I don't really love, but I don't hate it either.
I am just not happy with ANY choices now. I just can't find THE name.
Nothing sounds right. I feel I am being to picky or something. What should I do?
Any suggestions?

Dh has shot down a few of my suggestions with the same response...sounds like a stripper or porn star name. I love Alexis but he shot that one down when i was pg with DD. My best friend said everyone will call her sexy lexi. I still love the name though. I suggested Layla and he told me thats a stripper name too. What about Alexa?
Dont settle for a name you are on the fence about, you and DH should love it. There are so many names out there you will find one that you both love.

With DD1, DH and I both fell in love with her name very early on. With DD2 it took us until around 36 weeks to really commit to her name. I was so hard, but we kept at it until we both agreed we loved her name! Don't give up, keep looking until you both love it!

We are in the same boat. We had a boy's name picked but found out yesterday we are having a girl. This is so hard! What about Emily or Paige?

maybe pick up a name book from your local library and go through them? i feel your pain, I am having a  but if we were having a  i would def be in the same predicament. I hope you find something you both love!

Interesting, this issue never came up with us. My DD is Alexis, however she is never referred to as Lexi or Sexy Lexi because her nickname is Alex.
My DH and I each put together a list of 5-8 of our favorite names. We then switched lists and deleted names we couldn't live with. That shortened our lists and then we combined them. We then started discussing the names and narrowed boys and girls down to 3 or 4 that we both like and would consider using. We then went from there.
My advise for both of you is to keep an open mind. We just picked our girl name and it's a name I never thought I would like or name my kid. After our process above, I have come to love the name and see it as a perfect fit for our child if indeed a girl.

DH shot down a lot of my girl and boy names so we went on the internet and we started at A and shouted out which ones we liked and read their meanings. So far we have agreed on only one LOL

good for you! I really love the name lexi...
but I ran this by my brother too and he used to have a friend (girl) in school- full name- alexis and everyone always also called her sexy lexi and other obscene things... and there are famous porn stars using names like lexi and alexandra and alexis. so I guess my DH was right in objecting but it's still unfair!! Why do I like porn star names? 
But it will be your daughters name and u wont let anyone in your presence call her those things, so i dont think it really matters. I wish DH saw it like that.
