Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
As for me, working every day is almost painful. I'm so tired and done and ready to take my leave. And I'm only 34.5 weeks! Don't know how I'm going to make it the next 39 days

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I'm 32 weeks and I'm getting sooo tired. I wish I could lie in bed all day but there is still so much to do before baby comes.
Doesn't help that 10 days before my due date, we have two different companies moving into our floors at work and I am the office manager so it's going to be a BLAST the last month before my maternity leave
eta: I've been getting squirmy movements a lot lately and they are soooo weird/cool. Feels like a shark fin under my skin
Our nursery is coming together too our curtains, curtain rod, night light, partial bedding, came in yesterday and looks so nice in the room! Waiting on crib and glider

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I'm 29 weeks and while I certainly can't complain it's getting to me a little. The entire pregnancy has been so easy for me. I feel different and certainly not myself but compared to others it was a cake walk. Now my schedule is catching up to me. I work full time in an office, teach dance classes about 15 hours a week, and am going to school. I've done this right along but now I'm napping more on my nights off and waking up in the morning is difficult. Also, I'm starting to stress out because we've barely started the baby's room and this is also when dance competitions start for my girls. I know it will all be fine but sometimes it's just a lot to think about.
Good luck to everyone! We're almost there!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
Well, I have completed 31 weeks and am in week 32.
I have not really been sleeping, although last night was better than most. I was only up once to make choc milk, and 5 times to pee
Aside from the aches and pains of my new "weight", my swollen hands and feet, and my constant congestion, I am pretty OK. Oh- the lightining cr*tch and peeing when I cough or sneeze has been fun too!!
In truth, I am getting used to all of the stuff that comes with being pregnant. I am nervous though about losing the weight I have gained. I am hoping that BFing works out and it will help me to lose it.
Most of all, I just cannot wait to meet my little boy! I constantly think about seeing his little face!!!
On another note, DH still has a TON of work to do on the nursery, but he is off next week so I am praying that it all happens then. We still need to finish spackeling, sanding, polishing, painting, and then rug installation! Then we can move in the furniture which is sitting in my basement. Only 62 more days until due!! I would love to have everything in place though before my shower (March 10) that way I can move what I need to into the nursery right away...
I just have to find some new knobs for the baby's dresser (we are re-purposing). The furniture is all re purposed (crib was given to us by family friend- is a Bellini and seems really nice..we'll see), So the nursery will be very eclectic, but I am OK with that.
Once everything is in, just need FIL to paint the mural on the walls, and we will get the window treatment and we will be all set!!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I'm 28 weeks and kind of freaked out at how quickly I got here and how soon my due date is (despite it being 12 weeks away). I blame that on having had a preemie the first time; I'm afraid of having an early baby again so I'm trying to get stuff done now.
I have some good days and some days I'm just so exhausted. It's bound to get worse, I know lol.
Planning on working til the bitter end. I want to have the time with the baby instead of beforehand.

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
Our nursery is almost done. All the furniture is in and assembled. All that's really left is finishing touches on the decorations.
STILL need to find a pediatrician. I really need to get on that
We ordered some new furniture for the house and that's all coming in the next few weeks. It feels like a race to try to get everything in before the baby is here.
I keep having dreams about the birth and finding out if is a boy or a girl and lots of dreams about breastfeeding!! It makes me so anxious to just have here already and be able to hold him or her.
Hospital bag is packed but still need to install the carseat. So much to do!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I am 28 weeks and can't believe how quickly this has all been going. I am a full day pre-k teacher, so I deal with 18 4-5 year olds all week long. I was tired before I was pregnant, now I'm just exhausted!!! Can't wait for winter break next week! I will be working up until the day before my due date if all goes as planned since I will make it from my due date to the end of the school year with my sick and personal days and not have to go on disability. All in all I'm feeling pretty good. I am sleeping pretty well which helps. I am only up 1-2 times a night-Thank God! We have so much work to do on the nursery and the rest of the house. My DH and I just bought our house about 2 weeks ago so he's been working on it after work and on weekends and his friend has been helping him. Were hoping to move in by the end of next month make sooner. I feel bad because I really can;t help in the house with all the demo we are doing in their I can't be around it, so hoping he can get everything done soon! All in all feeling good!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I am 33 weeks, and have been feeling so exhausted!! Once I hit the 29 week mark, exhaustion kicked in. I am also vomiting almost every morning , meanwhile I did not vomit ONCE during my first tri!
I think I will be finishing work by the time I hit 37 weeks or so. They found someone to replace me while I am gone, and I heard through the grapevine that they want to keep her and fire me. These ppl can s*** it I am so fed up with the crap they have put me through since I have announced my pregnancy.
Anyway - I went to the doc last week and she told me my belly is looking kind of tiny. I am going tomorrow for a growth sono, and I am so nervous! I everything is ok with my precious . If anyone BTDT went through the same thing, please FM me because it's getting me nervous.
Hope all you ladies are doing well! We're almost there!!!!!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I am 31 weeks w/ a c/s scheduled for April 10. Still working w/ a LONGGGGG commute into Brooklyn. Will work until the day the baby comes.
Baby already weighs 4+ pounds and I think he/ she may come sooner. Had an internal last week bc I was having contractions and she could feel his/ her head. (ummm.....kind of weird.)
Nursery close to done. Named picked out. Getting minivan this weekend. Pretty much set!
I really am sad about not having as much time w/ the boys. I was crying this morning just thinking about it. Plus, w/ a c/s, I won't be able to hold them for a week or so, and won't see them much when I am in the hospital.
Damn hormones!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I will be 34 weeks on Saturday. Technically I have 6 weeks left, but since I had such a rough delivery with DD due to shoulder dystosia, the doc has decided he will not let me go past 37-38 weeks. He will either induce again or I am an automatic candidate for a section, which I would rather avoid. He is going to make a final decision by my next appt on March first.
So anyway- I have more like 3-4 weeks left, now.
I am feeling pretty uncomfortable, most days are fine, though. Some days are awful with exhaustion and discomfort. I have pregnancy insomnia and a 2 year old with horrible sleep habits, so I get very little sleep. Still working- will work til the bitter end, although i'd prefer to be in my bed all day.
I am reallllly counting down the days.
ETA: We are not doing a nursery until later because if is a girl, she will share a room with DD once she's sleeing through the night. If it's a boy, we'll see. Either way, baby will be in a crib in our room to start. Which we haven't gotten set up. I also haven't bought bottles, diapers, gone through my gender neutral newborn clothes, gotten baby stuff out of storage, etc.
I need to get crackin'.

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
full term 37 wks today! have been feeling pretty good and can't complain too much. ms seems to finally be letting up unless it's super humid outside.
nursery is done, things are ready for baby. the only thing left is to wash some remaining baby stuff, figure out how to use the pump, transfer stuff from 2 hospital bags into 1 large one and get dh to start reviewing our birth class notes LOL dunno if the last one will happen haha but it's worth a try!
ob said things down there are progressing. already 1cm dilated, 60% effaced, lost mucous plug, been pooping like i've never been so regular.... the body is definitely prepping for d-day!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
34 weeks --- on friday I will be 35 weeks. I have 32 days to go until my csection date!
Really my only complaint is the exhaustion! I am so tired! And with 2 other kids to take care of, there is very little time to rest. And I'm a bit of an ambitious insomniac these days so I stay up later then I should working on projects ... maybe it's hormonal? I dunno but I am just really really tired!
I went to the OB on Monday and the baby is very low...no wonder I recently started getting my waddle on!
I am a SAHm and I watch a 3 year old Monday-Friday, 6:20am-5pm...so I am still "working" but at least I am not at a job on my feet all day. I have her until the Friday before I deliver...so there will be no time off for me! And she'll be back within 2 weeks of my c-section!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I'll be 34 weeks on Friday.
I'm starting to slow down a bit and get short of breath at times - especially when holding/carrying DS.
I'm still commuting into the city but, I am working from home two days a week now. I'm going to continue to do that until around 38 weeks and then I'll re-evaluate.
We haven't done a nursery yet because like Jenny - if they are the same gender, they will be sharing a room and we're . We figure the baby will be with us for awhile in the beginning anyway.
I am planning on getting the big stuff out and washed next weekend and installing the carseat bases.
I'm ready for the baby to be here.

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
32 weeks here! I'm feeling ok, just really tired like most of you girls said. I'd say about 2 weeks ago I started to get more tired and now I find myself falling asleep on the couch at 7pm . Physically I feel ok unless I've been laying down for awhile and then I have to get up. OOF! That's not fun. I just started feeling the baby's hiccups a couple of days ago - so cute! Nursery is coming along but we still have a bit to do. My shower is next weekend so I'm excited to fill up the room with all the stuff we need! So exciting for all of us, getting close to the end!

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I'm 34 1/2 weeks...feeling good but thankful to only work part time. I generally am glued to the couch the following day. This baby feels so much bigger than DD was. I've been getting a lot of pelvic pressure at night and some stronger Braxton hicks contractions. I think I may wind up going into labor before m scheduled cs. We'll see! DD didn't want to come out and I went to 42 1/2 wk. I cant believe how quickly its going!

Will be 31 wks this Friday and I honestly have to say that I cant complain. I do have some minor discomforts such as, back ache, stomach aches, mildly swollen feet and still some acid reflux but other than that Im feeling pretty darn good (hope I didnt just jinx myself)...
We ordered our furniture that should be arriving soon. Im so excited to start getting this extra room looking like a nursery.

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
34.5w here and pretty uncomfortable. I have so much pressure down below there are times I feel like he's going to just come walking out. As much as I want to sleep I can only get an hour or so at a time bc I wake up to pee or bc I'm in pain. And it takes forever to fall asleep at night.Luckily I am no longer working, I really don't think I would be able to deal if I were. The nursery is all done, clothes are washed and pt away, bassinet is set up inour room, car seat is installed, diaper bag is packed and hospital bag is out with a few things that I don't need now in it. Now all I need is for this little boy to get here, 5.5 more weeks (if I'm lucky maybe he'll come a little early, i'm game for anything after we hit the 37 week mark!)
Good luck to all the other mommies in the home stretch!!

Home Stretch Well I will be 34 weeks this saturday, probably will be going in for a section on March 26th. I am in so much pain that sometimes I feel as though I will black out. He is surely letting me know who is boss. I stand my Nook on my belly like a tent and he kicks it! His room is pretty ok..furniture done, he needs a mattress though. Pediatrician picked out, shower is the 25th. I want him out. I can't wait to hold him.

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
I'm 32 weeks and hate to say that I'm pretty uncomfortable. It seems like the next 8 weeks are going to take forever!
I teach H.S. so thankfully while I'm at work I'm too occupied to think about myself. Once I head home, it's another story. I'm out of breath by the time I walk to my car, have an hour commute, and then by the time dinner and all that is done I'm exhausted. Sleeping is pretty limited because I can't get comfy and have really bad acid reflux.
On a good note, the nursery is pretty much done! We went from no walls, floors, or electric to have the furniture in in just a few weeks! Now just waiting for the shower to be able to add all the fun stuff!
Baby is moving tons and measuring perfectly. Can't wait till 36 weeks when we have our growth sono.

Re: Girls in their 3rd Trimester, come on in!
Update to say that I think in the last two days my little boy has had a growth spurt or something!! I am so incredibly friggin uncomfortable that I am unsure of how this will work for the next two months.
I actually ripped my underwear today trying to pull them up
Guess its time for some granny panties.
