Girls at the end - maybe TMI
Have your bowel habits changed? I was so constipated my whole pregnancy and was lucky if I went every other day. Now I am going a few times a day and it's not as hard as a rock anymore it's on the softer side. Are you ladies experiencing the same thing? What's the deal with this?

I have never been "regular" but for the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing what you have...maybe the baby shifting has something to do with it?!?! I am 40 weeks :) HTH

I was thinking that might be the cause too. Not really sure though. I keep saying to myself do I seriously have to go again?

Yes. I have been the same as you. I am 40 weeks, and the last week or so, it has been much better (lol). From what I understand its normal and just your body cleaning itself out before the big day!

This! Get it all out now so you don't poop on the table (Have you read "Belly Laughs" yet?).
I was dependent on Colace, now I'm cutting back...

From my understanding - no, not everyone. But it is a common thing.

I feel the opposite. I have had no issues with constipation this whole pregnancy and now it seems to be getting worst. It feels like my stomach is in my throat and my food is not digesting properly so maybe that has something to do with it.

I just learned about this last night my baby class. This happens due to the baby dropping and putting less pressure on your intestines making it easier for you to move things through your bowels and breath easier. So your babies are probably dropping into position and your body is cleaning out getting ready for labor!
