Girl Name poll...
So we came up with a new girl name..
Sienna Paige
We both went to and met at Siena College and Siena, Italy is one of our favorite cities. I always loved it, and DH suggested it lastnight!!!
How does it compare to our others choices?

Re: Girl Name poll...
I voted for Gianna Paige because I LOVE Gianna. That would probably be my girl name if it didn't seem to be so suddenly popular, which is a drawback for me personally. I was set on Gianna/Giovanna until I noticed just how many people I knew with little girls with those names. I know some people aren't bothered AT ALL by this, so it really depends on your preference.
Sienna is a gorgeous name also and definitely much less common! Also, your meaning behind it is really nice and makes it special.

I also do not like common names. Gianna is fairly popular, especially amongst Italian American, and in my neighborhood I have heard quite a few babies w/the name so it is a deterant for us as well,

Re: Girl Name poll...
My sister did something similar. She and my brother in law got engaged while on a cruise and he proposed when they were at Magens Bay. They named their first daughter Magen and I love it. It's different but more importantly is has great meaning to them! Go with your heart. I am impressed that DH actually came up with the idea.

I agree with the poster who wrote about using Marietta as the middle name with Sienna. Both have a lot of meaning to you.
