Girl Name Poll
Since we are pretty sure we are having a  , we figure it's time we started thinking of names. These are still preliminary choices. The middle name for all three would be Colette (after my Mom.) We have a boy's name set just in case. (The last name will be a "throp" name--think Winthrop)

OMG I hated my name as a kid..
I used to always complain.. 8 letters.. four sounds.. ugh
but i'll give you this.. it has a TON of nick names...
Problem is everyone always calls me everything OTHER than Veronica.. I get Vicki, Valerie, Vanessa.. etc.
ETA: I wanted to add.. they STILL do this.
Just thought I'd give you some input from a 32yr old Veronica!
Oh, bonus.. its such an old name is rooted in every language on earth based in Latin.. French, German, Spanish, English.. etc. That's actually kind of fun.

how about natalie? that's a christmas name too. it's my godsister's name and i like it too! unfortunately, natalie doesn't have a great sounding nickname imo

Gwendolyn is one of my absolute FAVORITES, and I don't like a LOT of girls names.
Veronica would be my second choice. That used to be one of my favorites, but DH was engaged to a Veronica many moons ago so it won't ever appear on my list again.

We have a Christmas name picked out (my dr said i may have to be induced alil early..between xmas and new years)
Its has "Noelle" in it, but thats not the full name
i LOVE gwendolyn, but my DH knows im obsessed with gwen stefani and says its ridiculous to now name my daughter after her lol
