Re: gingerbread university?
I did not go to a bday party there, but last year I took my 3 year old just to make a gingerbread house. We went with a few other kids and all of them loved it. The room is pretty big and the people are all very nice. It's a lot of fun for the kids but I'm not sure if 1 is a little young. Also, would they close the room just for your party. When we went there was also a class trip there and it's gets pretty crowded and noisy. Just something to ask before booking.
I think it's a really cute idea for a winter party though. ;)

Re: gingerbread university?
I thought about doing it for my DD's 1st in November but got alot of feedback that 1 was too young for it. I decided that I would rather save it for a birthday that she could enjoy it. Good luck!

Re: gingerbread university?
It's so hard to find somewhere for a first birthday party!! We have a decent amount of older kids coming- so i thought it would be good for them. DD was born on valentines day and i saw they do themes like hearts and stuff for v-day... i don't know what to do

We had the same feelings too bc we have all older kids too. But my DH was upset that we were having it there "more for everyone else and not dd". He said he would rather wait til she could at least enjoy bc it is a really cool place. Where do you live? Have you ever looked into libounce?

Thanks- isn't this sooo hard!! My neices birthday party was at that bounce place- but i don't remember seeing an area for the smaller kids. But i didn't have a baby yet and probably wasn't paying attention!!

It IS so hard!!!! We are now just going to have a party at our house and get some games/arts and crafts for the older kids. It was very hard trying to find a place that we thought my dd would like and the older kids! We might still do a Gymboree party as well but that would be only for the smaller kids.
