gifts- full time daycare
DS has 3 full time teachers. I'm giving them each a gift card and small gift. What amout do you think is appropriate? I don't want to seem cheap, but honestly don't want to overspend this year. He has been there since Sept, if that makes a difference. I have heard suggestions anywhere from $15- $50! Big range! TIA!

Re: gifts- full time daycare
I think if your child hasn't been there that long, you shouldn't feel obligated to give anything, but if you are, maybe you can pool $$ with other mothers so the gift is more substantial?
I'm doing exactly that with the other 25 mothers in my DS's class - the class has 3 main teachers and 5 helpers so there's no way I'm shelling out that much money for 8 caregivers.
Just something to think about, if pooling is not an option, just give something small, like a $20 GC to the main teachers since you weren't there the whole year.
