Gift to hotel
I want to send my friends a bottle of wine at their hotel. Do I call the hotel directly for it or should I call a local liquor store and have them deliver it?

Call the hotel, they may have you fill out a credit card authorization form, I had to when I did this. Also ask what packages they may have...choc chip cookies and wine or a fruit and cheese platter. Just giving you some ideas :)

call the hotel. I've done it before for my boss. They are always very helpful. Let them know the price range you want to spend on the wine.
Just make sure you have the correct spelling for the last night.
One time my boss sent champagne to one of our clients at dinner and the girl who made the arrangements spelt the last name wrong and the bottle went to the wrong table. There were two reservations at the restaurant with the same first name and very similar last names.
