Gift recommendations for 1yo Girl
My friend has a 5yo boy and a baby girl. Their house looks like Toys R Us/Disney. I seriously think they have every large Fisher Price type toy for babies and toddlers.
Can you recommend gifts for the 1yo girl?
I was thinking clothes but she has a ton of clothes already. DH thinks we should give cash or a gift card but that seems so impersonal. Looking to spend around $100. They are good friends.

how about something personalized? if its a summer bday, you can do a personalized towel from PBK and a bathing suit to go along with it, maybe a beach chair? A whole summer beach theme.

I agree with something personalized, maybe something small like one of those books where they use the babies name on every page, and then you could give cash or a gift card.

If it feels like they already have everything, then I would say your safest bet would be something special that's personalized and/or a giftcard. If you feel like GC is too impersonal to give alone then I think it's a great idea to do both. My DD is 4, but LOVES the personalized rocking chair Grandma got her last Christmas. Something like that could be nice even for a younger girl because it's something to grow into and use for a long while.

What about jewelry? My sister gave my dd a sterling silver bracelet with her name spelled out in little blocks. It is really pretty.

I like your DH's idea and that would have been my gift of choice for my 2nd DD"s 1st bday. Otherwise I would def do the personalized option- First Birthday Frame- Personalized Art Work for Nursery, Name Stool, Anywhere Chair , or a personalized book along with a check. I also like the idea of a membership-- Childrens Museum, Gyboree etc.
