gift ideas please!
hi girls!
ok... so heres the deal. DH has a group of about 20 friends from high school with that we are super close with. they really are like our brothers and sisters... so anyway, 2 of the guys went to west point and have been in the army for the passed 5 years. they each went to iraq twice, and then one has been stationed in texas and the other one in germany. they are both getting out of the army in a couple weeks and moving home. we are having a big BBQ "welcome home" party, and i wanted to get them each something as a gift from all of us too.... any ideas??? we would either all chip in and get them each something, or maybe even make something like a "heres what you missed" memory book or something... just looking for any ideas  thanks!!

I know this sounds dumb...
but what if you made them each like a plaque thanking them for being great friends and thanking them for our freedom...Something Sentimental that they can hang up and always remember. Even put a picture of your group on the plaque!

the Post office has this beautiful picture for the US Army. It really is a keepsake.

oooh! i like this idea! they are each getting their own places when they move back, so that would be a neat thing for them to have to hang up! lol just have to think about when/how to get the group picture.... LOL
