Gift for grandparents from DS?
I want to make them something from DS, but I am at a loss. I am looking for something we can make that uses either his picture, or maybe his hand prints or foot prints. But I don't want it to be cheesy, you know? Any suggestions?

We are making picture ornaments out of candy canes. Somewhat cheesy, but I have all the ornaments I made when I was little and they go on the tree every year, and it's nice.
You take 2 candy canes, shape them into a heart, glue gun them. Cut a heart out of red or green felt, then cut a smaller heart to go over top of that one, then cut a small hole for the picture (zig zag type scissors make it look nice). Put the picture between the layers of felt peeking out of the hole. Glue it. Then glue a ribbon on to hang. Inexpensive and easy and cute.

Not cheesy.
I am doing a photobook. But I always tell people to do handprint/footprints. If they celebrate Christmas they do handprints ornanements too.

I just made my mom a mousepad from shuttertfly and she LOVED it!!! I ordered it late afternoon Fri, and i got it mon with normal shipping.

If you google handprint crafts there are a lot out there.
We make ornaments every year. I get a different shape of wood at Michael's each year and then they paint them. I drill a hole, put in some twine and glue on their picture. Date it on the back. My mother loves them. And they get all excited to make them and then put them on our tree.
Maybe we'll try those candycane ones next year.

from Personal Creations I got my sister a trinket box with DD's picture, I go tmy mom a frame and a grandma poem from personlization mall and I got frames for granpa, daddy and godmother
