I have known my boss for years and and we have always been very close. For the past two years he has given me a christmas bonus and i have bought him very generous gifts (at least i think they are). last year an ipod and 2 years before a don mattingly signed bat. Each about $200.

This year thing are a little different. We have not been getting along at all, sometimes barely speaking. Due to start up costs at our new firm, he was low on funds and gave me a fairly significant cut in my commissions.

Now, i'm torn as to what to get him for xmas. I found a cool gift for $150, but i don't even know if i should bother since things are what they used to be, but at the same time don't really want to give him a bottle of vodka which is what everyone else in the office gives him. I'm pretty sure, i will get a bonus, same as the other years.
