Gift for baby shower
I waited last minute to buy my friend a baby shower gift. She only has little things left and I feel like it would be crappy to get a bunch of trinkets. I'm trying to think of what I would want as a new mom and I'm going blank! Lol
Should I just get a gift card with a book? Or maybe buy some small items? Thoughts?

I would buy some of the stuff she has left in her registry- maybe make a gift basket.

You could buy all your favorite toiletries and put it in a baby bath tub.
Or a diaper bag with all the products you liked
Pbk hooded towels are also a fav
Mommy survival kit. With gripe water, gas drops, infant Tylenol, etc. etc.

Thanks all. I decided to pick up some of the smaller items off the registry and added a book. I'm not really close with the girl and I'm sending it to her house so I can't make it that cutesy.
I like the ideas though. I can definitely use them for the next shower that comes along

I love buying a bunch of smaller things off a registry and making baskets/diaper cakes/trains etc. it makes it fun if you like to get crafty and chances are, you'll get oohs and ahhs from it ??

Good decision to get the little stuff - all that stuff really adds up, and it's hard to explain to DH what exactly yiu need if you have to send him to the store for any of it!
