Gift for baby
One of my boss' manager's wife had a baby. We want to send something. I was thinking edible arrangement. Is that lame? Any other ideas?

Re: Gift for baby
What about a stuffed animal and a cute outfit for baby?
If you are doing it in a group, maybe a pampering basket for the mommy with lotions etc., and some cute things for baby.

Re: Gift for baby
You could send food - i know that may sound crazy but every mom wants a meal without having to worry about her or her dh cooking or running out to get something.

I would love to do this and I'm hesitating because I don't know if they are kosher.

Yes, food ABSOLUTELY!!!
We were swamped with outfits... many of which DC's never wore, just outgrew.
I would rather have had a hero

a set of cute onesies? Moms can NEVER have enough onesies. Maybe with a halloween, thanksgiving, or holiday design?
if you give clothes...PLEASE provide them w/the reciept! We just had our baby and we've gotten SOOO many clothes that I'd prefer to return and cant!

Re: Gift for baby
I'm all about food!! Lol!! The baby gets so many clothes and toys...the BEST THING EVER was receiving meals that we just had to heat up.
We also got an edible arrangement and it was delicious, especially the chocolate covered strawberries!

Re: Gift for baby
I'd send something for baby or a GC to Babies R Us... or just flowers.

Re: Gift for baby
I would check amazon.com - they might have her Babies R Us registry.
re the food, I think it's a great idea. just be sure to find out what kind of food they eat first. some people have allergies, etc

Re: Gift for baby
I found out that they are not kosher. I think I'll go with my original idea.
