Gift for 2 y/o
Dd was invited to a birthday party for another girl at daycare. They are 2. What do we give as a gift?

These are always safe bets.
Otherwise, a more generic gift- wooden alphabet puzzle, soem kind of v-tech toy, crayons/coloring books. We just got a big thing of sidewalk chalk and a chalk spiral art kit for DD's 2nd birthday.
ETA: Some other gifts that were a hit- a duplo blocks train set and Water Wow coloring pads. I love that they are reusable! They're great for on the go.

Gift for 2 y/o
I like the m&d water wow books mentioned above. Also their wooden puzzles or magnet puzzles (with the fishing pole type thing), paint with water books.
My niece who just turned 2 was obsessed with oue little tikes cash register. She also likes anything little people.

Gift for 2 y/o
I've been giving gift cards lately to pretty much all of the classmates/friend parties my kids are invited to.
I feel like people don't want a lot of toys or clutter and plus you don't already know what the child has already.
For a classmate I do $25 either to Disney store or Target

I’ve been giving gift cards as well, or if I rsvp, I ask if there’s anything in particular the child has been wanting.
