Gift bag or not?
DD is having a sleepover for her 9th bday. We'll be giving dinner, cake, breakfast and other treats. Should I be giving a gift bag or not?? I've been getting mixed feedback. TIA!

I don't think it's necessary, but Michael's has some cute stuff in their dollar bins- like sleep masks, pedicure kits, etc. I think things like that would be cute sleep over party favors.

Or you could do like snacks for movies.

Gift bag or not?
I say yes, but I always do cute favors to match the theme of the party. In this case, I would get sleep masks, lip balms, etc.

You could but I don't think it's necessary. This demand for favors is getting out of control. I don't remember ever getting a favor at a bday party or sleepover as a kid and I am sure I didn't care! I think you're providing enough without another thing for you to worry about.

I guarantee the kids don't care, but *I* give favors because I like them, and enjoy putting together cute little things

That's great! I'm not creative at all so for me it would be a chore.

I don't think it's expected at a sleepover but I guess I'm not in the sleepover loop yet.
