GHI Coverage for Pregnancy?
For those who have the no-cost GHI insurance through the city, are you happy with the the prenatal and delivery coverage?
I just started a new job today and a wondering if I should supplement GHI with my owner employer's insurance - it's $60/paycheck so am wondering if it's wise to go for it.
TIA!

I'm happy with it too. No copays for OB visits, only $15 for sonos/ tests. And I thought my C-Section was only a $300 copay, but maybe it was $500, can't remember.

GHI Coverage for Pregnancy?
I was happy with it too.
My delivery co-pays were $300.
The only other out of pocket I had to pay both times was for the anesthesiologist - but, it was less than what I would have paid for supplemental coverage.

Re: GHI Coverage for Pregnancy?
copays were 15 dollars. The deductible for the hospital is $300. I had absolutely no problems with the insurance. Just make sure your doctor uses the insurance accepted labs for blood work. I always had to go to quest. One time they sent to a different lab that GHI won't pay for.
ETA - I only had to pay $15 dollar copay if I had a test or sonogram. Regular OB checkups were no cost.
