Has anyone else read spoilers recently? I am so excited for what's coming up with the Nurse's Ball, former GHers coming back including........
Laura! Also Frisco and Scotty are currently filming! Kevin Collins came back this week, Alison Barrington... big story coming up with her. I can't wait for the whole 50th Anniversary. It should make for some gooood GH! I love when old characters come back!

i am super excited... this will help with my sadness since Jason left. I still don't understand why he left. Steve Burton said he was taking a break to spend time with family but he showed up on another soap a few days ago.

i am really psyched for the old characters coming back. especially frisco jones!
and i love, love, love to hate Britch. i love to watch those two (sabrina & brit) go at it. and glad patrick caught her.
and what in the world are they planning with all this vampire business? seems so hokey. then again, it is a soap 
i had to go watch old episodes of Port Charles to understand who's who's.
definitely adding some excitement to the show.
glad not to see mob crap.

Just read today that John McBain is leaving GH due to his character being part of oltl. I wonder what is going to happen now.

I am SO excited for what's coming!
I can't wait for Nurse's Ball and to see all these characters come back is great. I do, however, hate the nod to the vampire storyline from Port Charles - I think it's stupid.
I LOVE the Sabrina/Britt/Patrick storyline and so glad that Sabrina outed Britt. I can't wait for her Ugly Betty like transformation.

Even though I watched Port Charles, I wasn't a big fan. So I'm glad to hear that they are not bringing back the whole vampire storyline as it was on that show.
Looking forward to the 50th Anniversary. I hope by then they bring Robin back. I also think it would be really cool if they also got Tiffany and Shawn to come back.

I heard a rumor of some lovely people who were going to stop by the studio for a certain riff raff's birthday. Some others who wanted to deliver a cake. Even more wonderful folks who wanted to send cards and treats and I want you to know I am incredibly humbled by these gestures but unfortunately I will not be around to enjoy them. I've been informed, that due to some ongoing legal this and that, I cannot be at "General Hospital" after February 8th and since I know many of you go to great trouble to do something special, I just don't want to see anybody's efforts go to waste (especially the lovely person who always sneaks in the fine Irish Whiskey). If it's not too bold, may I suggest a donation to The American Cancer Society instead. Then some good will have come out of this...
...Miss you guys already.

As we already know, Prospect Park's reboot of OLTL and their "ownership" of the characters of John McBain, Todd and Starr Manning has complicated the future of these characters on GH. We had previously mentioned that all three would have to exit GH at some point in February. Whether their departure (or specifically, Michael Easton's) is permanent or temporary is still unknown at this time. Stay tuned.

Oh no! I really love John and Todd on GH, you can keep Star. How are they going to take all 3 so fast? So ridic.

Alison Barrington was on PC too. Her son is supposedly the son of Caleb the vampire. It does seem like more of a nod to me too but I think it's considered a nod because it's not going to be a huge dragged out s/l that will last months and months. I'd be surprised if it goes past the month of February. Especially since it sounds like the OLTL characters are leaving.
Spoilers from General Hospital Happenings:
Herring says that there will be several gasp-worthy moments. If fans are patient they'll have their 'Oh, I get it!' moment.. It could possibly be the best of both worlds: people that don't want a full-time vampire story will get what they want and people that enjoy sexy Caleb will get what they want. "It will be awesome.".

Looks like he starts airing on Monday! Not sure for how long. I'm interested to see how Maxie reacts.
ETA: Laura's first airdate is looking to be 2/11 so a week from Monday!

Me too. WHen McBain first came on & he & Sam kept saying they felt like they knew each other, that was funny. That was "nod" to the vamp storyline on PC. This is too much already. Lucy as delusional was ok, but when that Allison chic came on--that's when it crossed the line for me.

I read on a spoiler site that the writers have confirmed that Hope & Cole's bodies were never recovered so they may bring them back.

Okay so the whole Allison Barrington thing is from Port Charles? I thought I was losing my damn mind that I couldn't place them in GH history!!
