Getting your Toddler to Eat

Does anyone else have to brib their toddler to eat their meal?

At first I would tell Logan that I would turn the TV off but that doesn't seem to be working all the time anymore.

Now I have to brib him with either a cookie or a piece of chocolate when he finishes his meal. I even have to feed it to him sometimes, to make sure he eats it all.

When is this going to end? lol..

I was told That after 2 there growth spurts are pretty much over and that is why they become picky eaters.. SOme days I have good days with Ethan some days not so good. Last night he had a piece of bread and butter for dinner and 1/2 a banana ( to me this is not a meal) today for breakfast he didn't really want to eat and had a poptart at 10am.... Had a good lunch though. Look at what he eat for a week not a day :)
when they are 10 like Emily they will not stop eating lol

That's kind of how I look at it. On Sunday we went to the city to see the Christmas Show. DS wasn't hungy for breakfast but was hungry when we got there, so he had a hot pretzel. Then he wasn't hungry at a late lunch, but was hungry after the show, so he finished what was left of his pretzel. That's all he ate the entire day. But then he'll have a great day of eating, so it balances out.
And I personally don't see anything wrong with getting desert after a meal. DS almost always does. It's not always cookies, it's often fruit or pretzels and cheese, but it's a treat none-the-less. I don't see the problem.
