Getting your period during breastfeeding?
So my LO is 8wks yesterday and today I noticed that I seemed to have gotten the start of my period , yet I am breastfeeding. I am also supplementing is this why maybe this happened?
Did any of you experience this and or herd of this? I thought I was not supposed to get it so quickly regardless. bummer.

After DD1, I got what I thought was my period at 6 weeks pp. My doc said that was practically impossible and that it was probably just left over bleeding from the pregnancy. I had some spotting over the next few months, but no regular periods. I was pregnant with DD2 by 4.5 mths pp  (i was EBF until I started drying up from being pregnant again)
After DD2, it took me a very long time to get a period again, and because I'm on mirena now, i still dont really get them.
