Getting through a plateau
So I started working out 5 days a week for an hour a day, and eating MUCH better. Cutting carbs (not all, just the BAD ones) and drinking a lot of water. I have lost about 20 pounds so far with another 20 to reach my goal.
Problem is... I have stalled.
Its been about 2 weeks with ZERO change on the scale.
Help!!! How do I jump over the hurdle and continue losing?
TIA

Re: Getting through a plateau
You need to change your workout routine. interval train while doing cardio. alternate weight lbs.
For example, if you usually use 7 lb weights for sets, start off with 5, then do a set with 7 and then do a set with 10 or 12, then start over.
In between sets, do lunges or squats, or alternate between exercises.
for example, if you do a set of bi exercises, then go over and do tri exercises.. that sort of thing. just keep yourself going.
