Getting stuck in the crib
Any ideas on how to help him w/this or is it just a stage we need to wait out?
DS (7m) has started getting himself stuck in the crib...every night...sometimes several times a night! He keeps shimmying (sp?) & rolling around until horizontal & he can't get out of the position (because he's so long). This morning he managed to throw his legs up high enough to get them over the bumper & got one foot stuck in between the slats - even though he had a sleep sack on! I feel so bad - I don't know what to do to help him! I know he's supposed to be doing this to practice rolling, crawling, etc but the poor little guy gets so scared when he can't get out of a position! TIA

Thanks So the getting stuck part is normal then? We're going on 5 nights of this now, so hopefully he'll get the hang of it soon! lol

happens to all of us. He will figure out how to get himself out of there for a while though, youll just have to go in and adjust him.

Both of my kids have gotten stuck-I think it is just something they go through.

Its been happening to my DD every day this week but only for naps... meaning every nap is cut short at about 30 min when she gets stuck

Argh! I feel for all of you mommies too
DS has really started teething this week, plus he's suddenly started crying when he wakes up at night & realizes we're not there (he never did that before) and now he's been getting stuck to boot! Poor little guy can't catch a break! The good thing is that he always gives a big grin when we come in to free him & forgets that he was all upset
