Getting a new phone already on a contract
So DH and I have a family plan with Verizon. Its a 2yr contract due for renewal this year. Is it possible to buy a new phone and just transfer the contract to the new phone without renewing the contract just yet?

yes... your contract will only renew when you do an upgrade through Verizon... if you bought a phone on ebay or somewhere else and hooked it our up it would not affect your contract dates!
