Getting a couch reupholstered?
Can anyone recommend somewhere to have this done?
Is it worth it price wise?
I absolutely LOVE my couch, but one cushion has been destroyed by the dog, so it's wrapped in a blanket where he sleeps.
We're not in a position to buy one just yet, so I was considering other options.
I'm not looking to buy just a slip cover.
TIA!!!

i dont have any reco's but i have heard it's really expensive to reupholster...if you don't want to spend too much look at Ikea...they have nice comfy couches starting in the low $300's

I love my couch I want to save it!
I was trying to avoid a slip cover, but I guess that might be the only option right now...I figured getting it re-done (hate spelling that word!) would be

Re: Getting a couch reupholstered?
It's hard to say really b/c the price varies by the size of your couch and more so by the fabric you pick.
My parents looked into this but it didn't make sense since after all was said and done it was going to cost them a couple thousand. Instead they bought a new couch.
Would it be possible to just reupholster just the cushion? That would be a good way to save on the cost.

Re: Getting a couch reupholstered?
I would probably cheaper to buy a new one.
I got 2 chairs reupholstered at The Fabric Mill in Plainview and they were $250 each. It also depends on the Fabric you choose. The fabric I chose was very inexpensive - like $9.99 a yard. They did a great job, but their customer service s ucks. I would take a picture, note measurements and bring it in for an estimate.
It's the 2 red chairs on the right
