Gerber Yogurt Blends??
has anyone ever tried them? Is it weird that they aren't kept in the refridgerator?

Ds likes them. I thought it was weird at first that it didnt need to be in the frig, but they really are convenient

DD didn't like them at all.
I thought she just hated yogurt but she gobbles up the yobaby yogurts.
I also kind of worry about how much preservatives must be in them- to not need refrigeration, kwim?

Same here! DS did not like them at all and loves the YoBaby ones.

i thought they weren't refrigerated because they are mixed with the puree and that helps keep it from spoiling? 
got some for DS but haven't tried them yet. we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

I always wondered why they didnt need to be in the fridge. DD used to eat them but wont anymore. Now she eats yobaby and loves them.

my DD dr told me to start her on the yougurt in the aslie first and if she did ok with that i can then switch her to the fridge one. So i am thinking it cant be too bad then.

I assumed it was the same concept as Parmalat milk - it is in the way it is packaged.
I love these and always have them in my bag for an emergency meal for DD - so yummy!

no, its pasturized so its like formula in the way it has long shelf life till you open it.
IMO, its okay, but not as good as real yogurt, that has live active cultures. As a snack on the go, there are way worse things you can give.

We never used them, but I did read the ingredient list when I saw them at Target and there were no preservatives. When you think about it, those Horizon milk boxes and also RTF formula don't require refrigeration (unopened), and have no added preservatives either.
The only thing that sort of turned me off from them is the concept of room-temperature yogurt. Just didn't seem appealing from a taste perspective.

DS loves these. I keep them in my diaper bag for a quick on the go snack.
He eats both the yobaby and these. Doesn't have a preference. As long as he is eating hes good.
