Gender Question
To begin with I'm 12w4d. Yesterday at the sonogram, the little one was bouncing all around (so cute!!!) and at one point was spread eagle. I could've sworn I saw what I thought was a penis. DH thinks I'm nuts and that its too early to tell.
Did any of you have a similar experience or did you see some indication of gender at an early sonogram that turned out to be right?
I'd be excited to know if I'm right!!!!

I think its too early. My Dr. made a guess at 14 weeks (being 75% sure) that I was having a boy, but said it was still possible that the "girl parts" were just swollen. At my 16 week sono (I was back in 2 weeks b/c I had bleeding) he was 100% sure boy.

I wouldn't put all my egss in a "boy basket" just yet.
Wait until the 20 week sono and they can be more sure.

I found out at 12 weeks that I was having a boy...The perinatalogist said that at this stage you can usually tell BUT that this is when mistakes can also be made so he told me not to shop yet for anything blue....

I thought I had seen testicles early on, and it turns out I probably did. But I agree with the others, it's really hard to tell at this stage and I may have just guessed correctly.

the drs also look for the balls not the bat so it could be girl parts if you know what i mean ..
