gem of the day
i had a conversation this weekend with two of DH's best friends (both over the age of 30). as we were discussing the baby, and feeling movement, friend "D" asked me what happens when the baby poops "in there." he was shocked to learn that babies don't poop until they are born.
but that's not even the best part...
friend "A" asked me, "well, when
 pees, do you have to pee?"
as if the baby were peeing directly into my bladder.
i know that not everyone knows the ins and outs of pregnancy, but i was  at that comment! i had to explain to him that the baby pees right into the surrounding fluid... which really grossed him out
