GD- not testing for ketones
I am recently diagnosed with GD and my doctor did not mention anything about testing for ketones in my urine.
My sister had GD and said that I should be doing this.
Does everyone with GD do these tests each monring?

I don't. They only tested when I went in to meet with the perinatologist. My BS levels have been good so far and they never said anything about testing at home. HTH.

I do not. When I saw a regular endo, she told me once I got PG I would be testing every morning ... but now that I see a Diabetes Specialist they do not make me. I get tested at the OB at office visits and my diet is very well rounded with carbs so there has been no concern with Keytones...
