GD Moms - Baby Shower Food?
Crashing this board...
I'm planning a baby shower for a mom-to-be who has GD. We want to have food that we know she can eat. The shower is going to be held in the afternoon. What food would you suggest? TIA!

not really answering your question but just sharing my personal experience - my nutritionist gave me a 'pass' for my baby shower, without hesitation. it may depend on how well controlled your friend's gd is though. but i'd check with her if you can. she may be able to enjoy the same stuff everyone else is. good luck!

This is good to know! She's been very strict with her diet and heard she is most likely going to be put on insulin.
