Gaza Withdrawel....
What does everyone think of this?
I just dont understand, this is a very naive thought, but why does there have to be so much violence? It is just so sad to me.....
Historic events are always filled with violence, and I wonder if we can ever be a civilived society or if we ever were

As an Israeli, it's very upsetting to me, but I think the whole situation is so confusing and I don't think there will ever be solutions that are acceptable to either side.

I find it upsetting to watch the Israeli army forcing their fellow Jews out of their homes. It is awful to see Jew vs. Jew. I kind of understand why the land is being returned to the Palestinians, but I know this will not be the end to the violence.

OMG Jackie - I'm sure you saw the pic of the soldier on the news who was hysterical crying and then he had to be consoled by the settlers! It was heartwrenching!!

agreed..I couldnt even buy the paper today because I could not read about it, I dont know why its upsetting me so much, I think just the images they have shown so far and truly heartbreaking and sad is all you can feel...make sense?

It's so sad. the coverf of the paper showed soldiers fighting back tears as they evacuated fellow israelis. I just feel bad for everyone involved. I think the gaza pullout is long overdue, but it's really an awful situation. No one should ever have to be evicted from their homes, on either side. It just never ends. It's one atrocity after another

I think it's a necessary evil. It's a terrible terrible circumstance but I do believe they're handling it as best they can since the troops are completely unarmed. They finally got through the siege at the temple and there are only 4 settlements left. It's just too bad that there wasn't some foresight at the end of WWII that could have avoided at least some of this
