Gas Prices...
I saw gas today for $4.03/GAL, self serve, regular today.
It literally made me sick to my stomach.
It was the gas station right off of exit 59 of the LIE, so I'm hoping it was higher since it's in a high traffic area -- but reguardless it is still crazy!
What is the highest you've seen lately?
I have a feeling like the price I saw today is NOTHING compaired to what we'll be seeing in the near future!

I saw $4.09 at Exxon yesterday (regular)

For the last few days it's been $4 and change by me at most stations I've seen.
DH and I were at the Toyota dealership on Saturday and the salesperson who sells most of the Priuses was very busy. She said she's sold many of them to people who would have never even considered looking at one, never mind buying one two years ago... all ages, all lifestyles, all income brackets.

They are supposed to be getting some this week but they are all sold. He told DH he has sold more since the beginning of 2008 than he sold in all of 2007. There are at least 10 in my neighborhood that I know of. Our friends just bought a civic hybrid, they love it.

 good for you!!!
I'm so happy to see people caring about their MPG even though it blows that we are getting ripped off with gas prices!

OMGosh seriously!
In my area, the cheapest I have seen in $3.95.
I was able to get gas in Smithtown/Hauppauge for $3.93.
It's crazy.
I have a Santa Fe and during the week I hardly use it.

Southampton ALWAYS has high gas. It blows my mind. And I am not talking about 7 to 9 cents more I'm talking 25 to 30 cents more per gallon

Yes, it's crazy. The local gvt. is trying to fight the price gouging out here. But trust me, it goes way beyond gas. Everything out here is SO overpriced

I went to look at one last weekend just to see what they looked like and was told there was a wait list! They even sold the demo model so they had none to show to new buyers.

I have seen 4.05 but not for regular. Since I live in PA we get our gas in NJ and that is 3.55 still friggin expensive if you ask me.
