my DH got the parts and replaced ours. its not that hard. Look at your papers that you got with the grill and there should be replacement part numbers in the book. I looked ours up online and found a place that had it and shipped it to us.

good to know. Maybe I'll give that a try. For sears to come out its $99. then the parts and then the labor.
It's insane. I might as well buy a new grill.
