garlic butter
Can I buy garlic butter?
Like papa johns garlic dipping sauce just a little thicker.
If not, how would I make it? I'm sure it's pretty easy.

Re: garlic butter
I've never had Poppa John's.. but I make flavored maitre d' butter all of the time.
For roasted garlic butter - just roast a head of garlic at 400 degrees for almost an hour. (peel the loose dry skin and then lop off the top to roast). Squeeze the soft garlic into your butter and mix in your mini prep or food processor. If you want the flavor of unroasted/raw garlic, mince it first and then add to the softened butter and let it rip in the processor/mini prep. Taste.. add salt or pepper as you need or want. scrape onto a piece of wax paper and fold it up. Then wrap in plastic wrap and put in fridge to firm up. For roasted garlic you can do a ratio of 1 small head per cup of butter. For raw garlic you will probably want to go significantly less - maybe 5 cloves per cup. You can taste and add more as needed.
You can do this with any kinds of herbs or spices you would like.
