Gardners - Mums Question
We have these huge mum plants in theground - they need to be trimmed or something. Can I cut them and replant somewhere else or in a pot? If so, does it matter where I cut them (root, etc.).
TIA!

Re: Gardners - Mums Question
I'm not expert gardner, but I don't believe you can cut them now. but you could transplant them or split them so they aren't as full in one spot, I'm just not sure if they will flower this season

They actually already flowered - they're huge and tons of them, falling over.

Re: Gardners - Mums Question
You can cut them down. When/If they start growing back net year, pinch them into "mum shape" until the 4th of july.
