Gardening/bulbs ???
I just ordered a bunch of shade foliage for my new garden. The catalog says that fall is for planting. I now you have to plant spring flowers now. But, can I plant hardy bulbs now for next summer?
Thanks a bunch!!

Re: Gardening/bulbs ???
I'd wait a few more weeks till the weather starts turning cooler. I plant spring bulbs (daffodil, lily, crocus, tulip) as late as possible in October. Cool enough where it's comfortable working outside with a light jacket but not where the ground starts to harden.
What kind of bulbs did you get? Be sure to keep them somewhat hydrated before you put them in the ground. You don't want them to dry out.
