I don't know if you're on LI but I know that this was posted on 311online for NYC:
"There may be delays in garbage and recycling pick-up due to the size of the storm. If you've already put your items out, leave them out. If you've not yet put them out, hold them until further notice."

no pickup in town of hempstead.
the website says if your pick up is monday put the garbage out on tuesday and if your regular day is tuesday to put the garbage out on wednesday

none for Huntington. Monday & Tuesday are shifting to the next day. No recycling this week.
