Garage Door Openers & Safety from Theft.
I realized I am probably not doing the right thing here.
I keep my garage door opener clip thingy on my visor in my car...which is generally never parked IN my garage.
I started thinking how someone can break into my car and open my garage door (although the door inside to the actual house is locked).
Where should I be keeping it? I am moving it today.

My gagrage opener control pad that is in the garage has a lock button. So if you are home it locks the kyepad in the car. I used to put it in my purse until my DH read the manual.

This doesn't bother me. Especially when a lot of newer cars have built-in homelink buttons to open your garage doors.
If a malcontent wants to go through the trouble of first breaking into my car, and then breaking into my garage... I hope they take their time so they get caught.
These guys usually want to get in and out ASAP.
