Gap maternity pants
For those of you that have them, how do they run? I want to order a bunch of stuff online and I love the cargo skinny pants, but not sure if I should order my pre PG size. And I've heard the Gap at Roosevelt has maternity stuff. Do they have a big selection? Is it worth the half hour commute to get there?

Re: Gap maternity pants
I haven't gotten any of their pants, but my sis bought me a few shirts for Christmas and they're really cute. As far as the sizing, this confuses me too. I just ordered a shower dress from there in a medium because I exchanged the shirts I had gotten for a medium because they just fit and I still had 4 months to go. My pre-pregnancy size is a small in shirts and pants 1/2 or 3/4, but I'have had to up my size to accomodate my belly! I haven't gained weight anywhere else, so far!

Re: Gap maternity pants
Gap ran true to size in pants for me! I had to go a size up (from a M to a L) for shirts, but that's because my boobs were out of control . I don't live on LI, but the Gap Maternity stores I have been to have been awesome--def. my favorite selection of maternity clothes. Oh, and each Gap maternity I've been to has a bathroom right next to the fitting room. Love it.

Re: Gap maternity pants
I swear by GAP maternity clothes and find they run true to the pre-pregnancy size. I was a 10 before I was pregnant and fit comfortably into a 10 maternity. As for the Roosevelt Field store...it's located in the back of the GAP baby store and isn't huge. They do have a good variety of clothing there and a very large sale rack.

Re: Gap maternity pants
i got the skinny jeans from there and had to get my pre pregnany size 4 bc they are stretchy and the 6 kept sliding done. I love them. And i also got black crop skinny pants for work they are really cute with flats, i got size 6. I went to Roosevelt field they have a small room in the back of baby gap nice selection not too much. i would get your size before you got pregnant. or go there and try them on so you know before you order. they have the skinny cargos there.

Re: Gap maternity pants
LOVE gap maternity. I think they run true to size, like all pants, some fit different than others so the size can vary, atleast thats my opinion. Most pants I am a 2 or 4 pre preggo and I am pretty much that in gap.. however I have one pair that is a 6, guess its a leaner fit? Tops I am a xs/s and I am still that in maternity. I order mostly online however I made the trip the other day to RF mall, they dont have more in store than online but its nice to see the clothes in person sometimes, they have the skinny cargo's you want too... and everything online is more expensive FYI... I noticed that. The cargo's are the same bc they havent gone on sale yet but most tops online are all on sale in store!!
Happy shopping!! oh and ann taylor loft has maternity too.. cute stuff!

Re: Gap maternity pants
all my maternity pants are from Gap (it is hard to find a 16 long out there), and they were very true to size. I was 16L pre-preg and a 16L all throughout. And the quality is great!! I have 3 pair of work pants that i've been wearing to work 5 days a week for about 3 months now. I wash them in the machine on cold and dry them on extra low and all 3 pair still fit/look great!

Re: Gap maternity pants
i actually need to go down a size from pre-preggo in gap maternity.
i usually have a harder time getting pre-preggo pants to fit my tummy instead of my hips/butt though, so the elastic maternity waist allows me to fit my hips and I need the smaller size.
